Old Fragrance is still #1 – C. Segich – Canadensis, PA
When first VanCleef & Arpels made his first appearance years ago, has become my number one preference of scent. In all these years, I tried a couple different flavors and new, and I always retured to my love of old perfume, "First". He stayed with me for most of the day and always smells delicious enough to get complimented on it even on an elevator. The only drawback is that it is difficult to achieve that does not sell in states like once … but for me it's worthresearch.


First is Timeless – Kimberly Bridges – Los Angeles, CA
I started wearing it years ago. I received a gift, I think, from my father. I like the softness of the fragrance. It is not too overbearing and always makes me feel feminine and elegant. When he was no longer available at my favorite store, I thought I had missed out on yet another of my favorite scents (I was a teenager in love with Tuxedo), but thanks to this and specialized distributors like Amazon.com, I'm once again enjoy the smell of the first.

Others Like it – Jane Hebler –
I wore the first for many years, and often receive positive comments on that – more often to his "fresh scent. As is often noted, I never heard too much, though – straight.
